| 8hr Pre-Assignment Security Course |
| This is the New York State mandated course for new guards (most employers will not interview without this course). This course covers the use of force. |

| 16hr On-The-Job Security Course |
| You have 90 days after being hired as a Security Guard, to take this course. This course goes over the functions the guard will do while working for an employer. |

| 8hr Annual In-Service Security Course |
| This course is a YEARLY review of the topics covered in the Pre-Assignment course and must be completed EVERY year. The New York State License is good for two years, your course must be taken every year. |

| 47hr Armed Security Guard Course |
This is an intense hands on live fire course. Review on the laws and firearm safety is just apart of what you will learn. This course is like no other you will take.
Note: This course is recognized by some counties for a full carry pistol license. |

| 47hr Firearms Course for Armored Car Guards |
This course is the NYS required course for Armored Car Couriers. Use of force, deadly physical force and range instruction will be covered.
Note: If you take this course you can only be an Armored Car Guard and not a Armed Security Guard. If you take the 47hr Armed Guard Course, you can do both. |

| 8hr Annual Firearms Course for Armed/Armored Car Guards |
| This course must be taken EVERY YEAR. You must take both the 8hr Annual Security Course and this one. This course is held at the range. This is a live fire course, ammo is required. |
